In order to provide the best experience possible, we have been adding to our event for the past few years, and this year is certainly no exception. We are adding to our entertainment and cultural offerings, the expanding South Hall with traditional music inside Portz’s Pub, and the Inaugural Kilts and Craic 5K run on Sunday morning.

For 2013 we are bringing back the Friday night CONCERT – featuring SCYTHIAN

Scythian plays kicked-up Celtic and world music with hints of Gypsy, all infused with a touch of rock sensibility. Take a trio of classically trained dueling fiddlers, toss in a rhythm guitar, a banjo and the occasional funky accordion, then power it with the driving rhythm of a world renowned percussionist, and you’ve got the ingredients for a show on Friday night that you won’t soon forget.

We have completed the entertainment booking for the 2013 schedule.  Any interested bands / groups wanting consideration for the 2014 festival should send their email information to the entertainment chairman.

In the past we have brought great local and national acts including:

Finbar Furey                             Black 47
The Screaming Orphans          O’Malley’s March
Andy Cooney                           Derek Warfield
The Young Dubliners               Eileen Ivers
